"I am a road warrior and spend more nights per year in hotel rooms than I do my own home.As such my expectations are very high when it comes to my choice in hotels. Over the past 15 months I have had a client in Edmonton which I visit once every 4 to 6 weeks.The management and staff of the Holiday Inn Downtown Edmonton make coming to Edmonton more like coming to visit friends rather than work. As a result of the Wednesday evening social I have met other regulars at the hotel who I am happy to say are now friends.
Thanks to everyone at the Holiday Inn for making this road warrior feel at home.

I must say, once again I'm impressed with this Holiday Inn location. They never seem to stop impressing me. I am a Platinum member which really is based on they amount of stays I have been at this location. 7:30 in the evening I was checking my Priority club account online and realized I had a reservation for that night. I was of course in another city on business so I called to inform them that I had to cancel which of course it was no problem and will not be charged. Through the past year the company I work for decided to have all of our employees stay at this Holiday Inn in Edmonton, based on my feed back. Because of the amazing service I have decided to stay at other Holiday Inns in other Cities where available while traveling on business. Way to go and congratulations Holiday Express Edmonton Downtown, keep up the amazing service. T York

Staff is very courteous. Long time staff make a point of acknowledging me as a frequent guest which always feels welcoming. I often am the recipient of a little extra in my room which is greatly appreciated. I appreciate the upgrades on the work out area. I also appreciate the upgrade in room to a microwave and fridge as I often stay for extended nights and do not like to go out alone for dinner. The priority club member reception is excellent and very pleasant to attend. In short management at this hotel is excellent which shows in the many small ways my needs are attended to. I am a seasoned business traveler with minimal need for assistance. The associates were prompt and courteous with little wasted time upon check-in and check-out. This meets my needs perfectly. When I go to a hotel I like to speak with a cheery face not grumpy. I found that the staff were very helpful and seemed to enjoy their job. (Name withheld)
I was not staying your Hotel, I was instead at another hotel in the area when my vehicle was broken in to and a set of keys were removed from the vehicle. Your staff member found the keys and David (one of your front desk staff) went through a great deal of trouble attempting to contact me. David went as far as calling my Dealership on Vancouver island to track me down using nothing more than a key fob that had the Dealer name and my Vin# on it. I was looking at $1100.00 to have my vehicles locks and security system changed. I am very grateful to David and feel that he deserves acknowledgement from your chain . It would have been very easy for him to simply toss the key in a draw and wait for someone to ask if they had been found but he went one step further and tracked me down. A job well done. I will return. I feel safe in your hotel, the pool & hot tub are immaculate, and your breakfast is impressive. The front desk staff were most helpful when I required a corkscrew for wine....and when I needed assistance removing the corkscrew! My room was a home away from home for a week and I thoroughly relaxed after marking hundreds of papers. Thank You. Your professional and courteous staff handled everything well and that makes a difference. Dealing with the public is probably just as difficult as teaching a bunch of 17 year olds, maybe more so. I appreciate your efforts and you entire staff should be commended for all that they do. Thank You Michelle Pisoni -Teacher

Friendly, smiled, did their job as needed and quickly, staff including housekeeping are obviously nice to guests. Housekeeping must be one of the most difficult unrewarding jobs in North America. - Gordon Burditt

When I arrived, all rooms of the type I had booked were unavailable. In a matter of a few seconds, the associate upgraded me to an executive room. It is very much appreciated that the associates have the ability to serve their customers 'on the spot'. - Rock Harnett
